Katherine’s passion is to assist individuals, couples, and families on their journey to recovery. I hold a dual licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. Katherine is a graduate of East Tennessee State University (Master of Social Work). Her experience allows her the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to address mental health and substance use to individuals and couples, and to meet people exactly where they are, to get them where they want to be. In the past she has worked closely with veterans, individuals, and families who have had to navigate a variety of complex issues including mental health, substance abuse, family dynamics & marriage conflict; by creating a safe and supportive environment for recovery.
Katherine also strives to uplift and empower others through therapy by using researched based practices such as: Person-Centered approach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
